Changed My Mind Again

After all the craziness and expense of fixing my Casita (it took over two months for them to complete the repairs!), I have decided on a new direction. The physical stress of hooking up the trailer, and unhooking it from the 4Runner was a little much for me. It's not really that hard, but because of my RA, can be for me.

Also, I found that I was still nervous hauling the trailer since the accident, so... I'm selling it and have just purchased a 1988 Toyota Sunrader, with all the amenities. It's a small Class C RV, 18 1/2 feet long, and has a Toyota engine. It gets great gas mileage for an RV, 15-20 mpg. Amazingly, I can park it in a regular parking spot and have already parallel parked twice!

The Sunrader feels like home. My parents once owned a very similar rig and I used it quite a bit back in the 80's. I drove my "new" one up the coast on Hwy 1 from Southern California after buying it from a really nice guy in Claremont, CA. The drive up was really, really foggy, but beautiful none the less. The RV handles beautifully.

I was going to add more photos to this post, but I'm having a problem uploading them, so I'll continue on this track later.

'Til later, peace to you and yours...
